DIT research exchange agreement with Beijing University

The DIT Photonics Research Centre (www.prc.dit.ie) has signed a research collaboration and research exchange agreement with the Key State Laboratory of Information Photonics and Optical Communications (IPOC) at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT).

Prof. Chongxiu Yu
BUPT (http://www.bupt.edu.cn/enver/) is one of the leading Universities in China in Telecommunications with a strong focus on Photonics. The agreement was signed during an invited visit to BUPT in May 2010 by Prof. Gerald Farrell and Dr. Yuliya Semenova of the DIT Photonics Research Centre at the School of Electronic and Communications Engineering in DIT.
