This one-year practical and vocational course is ideal if you want to further your musical abilities on a part-time basis of 4.5 hours a week.

Entry Requirements

The minimum entry requirement is successful completion of one module at Level 5. This is equivalent to one subject at Leaving Cert level. Applicants must be 17 on 1st January in the year of entry. All applicants must also attend an audition to determine their eligibility for the course.

Progression

Graduates can progress directly to a career in the music industry, or can continue their study with a BA (Hons) in Commercial Modern Music in Guitar, Bass, Drums, Vocals or Songwriting at BIMM.

How to apply

CPD Diploma in Professional Musicianship

Applicants may apply for both the BA and the CPD courses – only one audition will be required.

International Applicants               

International students cannot study part-time on a student visa. In order to undertake this course they will need to have a full working visa.
