DIT Environment and Planning
The Department of Environment and Planning at DIT provides degree, postgraduate and CPD modules in the areas of Spatial Planning, Environmental Management, Local Development & Innovation and Sustainable Development.
DIT Environment and Planning offers a four year honours BSc programme offering students a professional qualification in the areas of either Spatial Planning or Environmental Management. The Department also runs four MSc programmes in the areas of Sustainable Development, Local Development and Innovation, Planning and Development, and Spatial Planning.
Our staff and facilities combine to offer a centre of excellence for the study of the built and natural environment in Ireland and beyond. With strong links to industry and policy-making, students can hear from some of Ireland's leading experts and study the most current and topical environmental and urban issues in contemporary Ireland.
