Dr. Lorcan Sirr lecturer in the School of Real Estate and Construction Economics discusses that Irish property market has changed fundamentally in a short space of time and for many the gloss has gone off home ownership. Speaking today at the National Construction Conference in Dublin, Dr. Sirr said “There is finally recognition that renting is good for the economy".
A new employment survey published by the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) has highlighted the shortage of suitably qualified property and construction graduates to fill available roles in the industry.
