and Construction Professionals for over fifty years

Mary McLoughlin is awarded with Honorary Membership to the SCSI.

Mary McLoughlin was inducted as an Honorary Member of the SCSI in recognition to her exemplary service to the Surveying Profession for over forty years. This is only the second time such an award was been made in the Societies history and is a testament to Mary's dedication and hard work. Mary worked as an invaluable member of the School and Real Estate of Construction Economics since 1969 - where she looked after the needs and sometimes welfare of more than 5000 students over the years. Mary is considered a Legend by graduates and was a beacon of friendlinesss and warmth amongst the hassle of college demands. For her unstinting loyalty to DIT, the College, the School, the Profession and her children (as she called us); for her efficiency and professionalism and more importantly for her enduring concern for the welfare of her flock (lecturers and students) - we the SCSI, award Mary McLoughlin with the status of Honorary Member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors.
