Celebrate love with the DIT Conservatory of Music & Drama at the NCHPosted: 11 April, 2018
Presented by the DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama, Amore, Love, Amour, a series of Opera Ensembles celebrates love for better or worse and takes place in the National Concert Hall on Wednesday, 25 April 2018 at 7:30 pm.
An ensemble featuring the very best in opera talent in Ireland from the DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama will perform a number of Opera numbers celebrating love in all it's forms .....for better or for worse! The resplendent event will feature staged Opera scenes by Mozart, Bizet, Berlioz, Britten and Stravinsky performed by DIT Vocal students in the John Field Room in the National Concert Hall.
The vocalists will be accompanied by Aoife O’Sullivan (Musical Direction) and Richard Mc Grath (Piano) while expert Vocal and Stage Direction will be provided by Colette Mc Gahon-Tosh and Sinéad Campbell-Wallace. Attendees of the event will be treated to a range of heart-stirring arrangements including the Sextet from Mozart's Don Giovanni and excerpts from The Rake's Progress by Stravinsky.
