The Intel Women in Technology Scholarships are now open for applications from female school leavers entering certain four-year undergraduate degree courses in science, technology, engineering and math.
The programme offers a monetary grant of €3,000 per annum, totalling up to €12,000 over the duration of the undergraduate program, as well as exciting opportunities for work placements at one of Intel’s Ireland locations in Leixlip or Shannon. Each scholar also gets the additional benefit of being assigned an Intel mentor to assist and provide advice on managing their academic career.
Female DIT students entering the first year in the following disciplines are eligible to apply for the grant:
- Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, General Engineering
- General Science, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, Physics and Chemistry of Advanced Materials, Nanoscience / Nanotechnology
- Computer Science/applications, Applied Computing, Internet of Things, Software Development Computer networks & systems management
- Mobile communications, Security, Computer Games Development, Integrated Engineering and Digital Media Engineering
