Welcome to the School of Media
Media education in Ireland, generally, takes one of two forms. Some institutions concentrate on analysing mass media from an academic perspective. Others specialise in media production. At the School of Media, DIT, however, we believe that for graduates to prepare for an ever-changing media field, it is essential to engage in a balanced combination of both. For over thirty years, this approach has encouraged engagement, critique and creativity. We hope that this comes across in our website and that you will find it useful, informative and enjoyable.
