Bernard Timmins
Bernard Timmins holds an MSc in Bioengineering from Trinity College Dublin (2006), and a B. Eng. in Manufacturing Engineering from Brunel University (UK) (1996).
Bernard lectures on the topics of Biomaterials and Assistive Technology, Reliability and Materials and is a member of the Students Learning with Communities (SWLC) advisory board which supports staff and students engaging in community-based learning and research. He also supervises PhD research and final year projects for the Engineering Systems Maintenance programmes in a variety of industrial fields.
Prior to joining DIT, Bernard held technical roles in industry with several companies in the Computer Technology field.
