The 14th Dublin eLearning Summer School (ELSS) is now over! This year we aimed to consider the wider issues that can affect our ability, at both an institutional and individual level, to provide appropriate, high quality, flexible and online learning opportunities for our students. The timely theme of 'Ethics and eLearning' focussed on the efforts of higher education institutions to develop effectively and appropriately in the online space. The topics explored included copyright and elearning; the effective and ethical use of learning analytics; privacy and data protection; digital footprints; and academic integrity in a digital age. A big thank you to the very many colleagues from across the Irish and UK higher education sector who joined us for the week - including UCD, TCD, IADT, DCU, Maynooth University, ITB, ITT, Setanta College, National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching &  Learning in Higher Education, NUI Galway, University of Kent, London School of Economics, LIT, DBS, Hibernia College and of course DIT!
