The DIT Estates Help Desk is a point of contact for anyone in the Institute wishing to report a fault or request a service. 

The Help Desk can be contacted by telephone on ext. 7666. Non-urgent requests can be emailed to estates.helpdesk@dit.ie

For Fault Reporting:

Please have the following information to hand:

  • Location of fault - building and room number if possible.
  • Person who reported fault - staff/student number.
  • Nature of fault - e.g. mechanical/electrical services, fixtures etc.
  • Description of fault

For a Service Request:

Please have the following information to hand:

  • Type of Service - e.g. Room Setup, Move Request, Equipment Disposal, Van Request etc.
  • Location of Service - building and room number if possible.
  • Time and Date on which you require the service.

The Help Desk will be available between the hours of 9am & 5pm Monday to Friday.

The DIT Estates office is not responsible for issues relating to Computing/Telephony and Audio/Visual.
