Campus Style Accommodation
For many people, coming to college means living away from home for the first time. We understand that you would like to live in a place that is clean, modern, comfortable, safe, and not too expensive, within easy reach of all your activities and preferably with other students who share the same lifestyle as your own. Depending on your circumstances and/or preferences you may chose campus style or private rented accommodation.
We are busy planning our own student residences at Grangegorman which should be ready circa September 2020. Until then DIT have block booked bed spaces with a number of our loyal external providers of campus style accommodation. We have added some new accommodation providers. These providers give preference to DIT students while accommodation is available. Providers endeavour to place students from similar courses and DIT campuses together. DIT has a residential assistant in some of the larger complexes.

DIT Block Booked Accommodation
Griffith Halls of Residence, South Circular Rd, Dublin 8
An ideal location for DIT Kevin Street and DIT Aungier Street. Great value, comfortable, safe, purpose built student accommodation just 15 minute walk to the city centre. This complex has 165 apartments with shared and single rooms available. A student community on 7 acres with 24 hour security makes Griffith Halls of Residence a safe private place to live. Price includes broadband internet, utilities, fitness room, bar & restaurant, library access, parking and bike storage, accommodation support services.
J.B's Student Residence, Dublin 2 - Chubb Properties
This residence is within walking distance to all DIT city Campuses and on a bus route to Grangegorman Campus. JB's Student Residence is a 10 minute walk to the DIT campuses at Aungier Street and Kevin St and within easy access to all other DIT campuses. The apartments which can house up to 140 students are bright and very spacious with a concierge at reception throughout the night. Chubb Properties also have accommodation in Rathmines and Ranelagh.

JBs Student Campus at the 'Deaf Village', Navan Road, Dublin 7 is suitable for students attending the Grangegorman Campus and DIT city centre colleges. This new residence which is located in a green and leafy campus with excellent Sports and Leisure facilities offers shared and single rooms.
All accommodation is separated into individual units, ranging from single rooms up to four bed bedrooms. All rooms are furnished to a high standard and include television, Wi-Fi and games consoles.
The kitchens are well equipped with all modern conveniences. Each unit also has a separate laundry room with industrial washing machines and dryers.
This Student Residence is within a short walk to DIT Grangegorman and on several bus routes to city centre colleges - 37; 38; 38A; 38B; 39; and 39A.
Conrath House Student Residence, Dublin 9.
Conrath House Student Residence situated on Gracepark Road, Dublin 9 , has been recently renovated to a high standard. Accommodation style consists of apartments with single bedrooms with shared kitchen and living facilities. All kitchens are fully equipped with crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils. There is excellent Wi-Fi available throughout. Most bedrooms are ensuite.
Gateway Student Village, Ballymun Rd, Dublin 9
The Gateway Student Village is a modern spacious purpose built gated complex comprising of 109 apartments. Each apartment comprises of 3 single bedrooms with an open plan kitchen and dining area. A limited number of twin rooms are also available. The complex adjoins Ballymun Garda station. All buses serving the area suit DIT Bolton Street and DIT Cathal Brugha Street and the number 9 bus stops at DIT Aungier Street and Kevin Street. Other facilities include broadband, full time resident caretaker and secure underground car park. Students have the use of a nearby swimming pool and leisure centre at a reduced rate.
Buckley Hall - 27-31 Buckingham Street, Dublin 1
Suitable for all DIT Campuses, Buckley Hall is a modern purpose built student accommodation apartment development located in the heart of Dublin City Centre. Most of the apartments are two bedroom units with one single room and one twin room, therefore 3 residents per apartment is the norm. There are two five bedroom units with three single rooms and two double rooms which are designed to accommodate 7 residents. Each apartment is a self-contained unit with an open plan kitchen and living area. Shared, private and ensuite bathrooms are available depending on the unit.
All of the apartments have gas fire central heating. There is communal laundry room and bicycle storage. Wireless Internet connection is provided in each apartment. Pre-pay gas and electricity meters are installed giving each apartment control over their energy consumption and costs. Accommodation includes single and twin bedrooms.
Buckley hall is within walking distance of DIT campus and is serviced bus routes.
A warden lives on the premises and there is a CCTV security system in place.
