| 29.05.12 | 10.00 - 16.00 | Building The Future | This event aims to help graduates with disabilities polish their job seeking skills and give them some important tips on successfully adjusting to the world of work and building a fulfilling career. High profile employers will have stands, speak to graduates one on one about their expectations as employers and will field questions relating to their organisations and the sectors they work in. Employers in attendance will include Abbott Ireland, Deloitte, Citi, ESB, Bord Gais, Enterprise Rentacar, Radisson, An Post and more. Mock interviews (pre-booking essential) will be carried out by some of most successful companies based in Ireland and graduates will get feedback on how to improve their performance and CVs. Practical seminars (pre-booking essential) will bookend the event covering the subject of 'Making a Good First Impression' beforehand (10:00-11:00) and 'Next Steps: Applying what you've learned' after the close of the event (15:00-16:00). This event is free of charge but registration by May 18th 2012 is essential. Mock interviews are limited and must be booked at the registration stage. | Careers International Spring Events 2012 |
Our recruitment events in London, Berlin and Brussels are “invitation-only” events, meaning all received applications will be pre-screened by Careers International team and then by the participating companies, who decide which candidates they want to see for an interview. All pre-scheduled interviews are real first-round interviews, many candidates receive job offers or invitations to follow up interviews/assessment centres as a direct result of the personal meeting with the companies at the event. Candidates can also organise on-the-spot interviews during the events. For those three events, we are expecting around 15 participating companies per event and we will cover the accommodation for up to 200 candidates at each event.
