On Monday 4th December, over 120 students participated in a charity fundraiser as donations were given to attend class dressed in Christmas Attire.
The final year students studying Business & Management and Business & Law rasied €435.88 for a most worthy cause; Jigsaw- the National Centre for Youth Mental Health. Mansour Barri, Final Business and Management student was the unanimous winner of “Best Festive Look” with his beard adorned with christmas baubles.
Dr. Eoghan O Grady, organiser of the fundraiser commented “’It was heart-warming to see the students from both programmes contribute their own hard earned money to charity, once again they demonstrated a true sense of giving back to the community and really embraced the festive spirit”.
James Barry, Project Manager at Jigsaw Dublin City expressed his gratitude to the students – “Thank you so much to everyone for supporting Jigsaw. It is support like this that ensures we are changing the way Ireland thinks about and responds to young people’s mental health needs”.
