Sky’s the Limit for Telecom Ecole de Management Students from Paris
17 October 2017
Students from Telecom Ecole de Management, a top-ranking Paris Business School join us for a full semester as part of their exchange programme.
DIT College of Business are one of the leading Irish partner institutions of Telecom Ecole de Management and are proud to hold such strong links, ranked in the top 10 business schools in France. To provide a unique learning environment for the Telecom Ecole de Management students, the DIT School of Marketing created a tailored programme in Digital Marketing and Communications Management.
In addition to their studies, project work and industry engagement, DIT ensure the students experience the cultural and social life of Dublin and what better way to get to know the landscape of their adopted city then a walk on the rooftops at Croke Park, home of Ireland's largest sporting and cultural organisation, the Gaelic Athletic Association- GAA.
Roger Sherlock and Lesley Murphy from the School of Marketing organised a visit to the GAA Museum which provided an exciting skyline tour of the stadium’s roof with an excellent accompanying guide, Niamh, who brought the city’s features to life with the stories of the past and present. This was followed by a more down-to-earth visit, pitch-side and an exploration of the museum detailing the history of the association and a chance to try first hand- Ireland's native Gaelic games; hurling and football.
