Shame and Attention- An Afternoon with Adam Phillips- 18th November

Join us at DIT College of Business for an afternoon in the company of psychoanalyst and acclaimed writer Adam Phillips.
Phillips will give a lecture on Shame and Attention followed by a panel discussion with Irish psychoanalysts Dr. Carol Owens, Professor Ross Skelton and Dr. Olga Cox Cameron. The event is followed by a wine reception giving you the opportunity to meet with the speakers and exchange ideas with fellow attendees.
Adam Phillips is a psychoanalyst in private practice in London, and a writer. His latest book “In Writing” was published in May this year by Hamish Hamilton. He worked in the National Health Service for seventeen years and was principal child psychotherapist at Charing Cross Hospital in London from 1990 to 1997.
