In his address, Professor Norton commented that DIT are proud to sponsor an award that underscores the important role trust plays in leading effectively. Professor Norton emphasised that leadership development is a critical aspect of many of our programmes, especially our flagship MBA programme and also many of the executive education programmes which we run for our various partners, both in Ireland and Internationally.  We have also partnered with the GREAT PLACE TO WORK INSTITUTE in recent years on a series of Leadership events.

The speakers at these events typically provide a case study of leadership challenges within their organisation and honest insights into their own leadership journey. DIT will host its next event on March 28th featuring extreme athlete Gavan Hennigan who recently rowed the Atlantic in record breaking time and who will row from New York to Galway later this year. His story of goal setting, motivation and high performance is truly inspirational.
