Inaugural Arts@DIT Award announced
January 2010
Dublin Institute of Technology is delighted to announce the launch
of the arts@DIT Award. The arts@DIT Award is a €5,000 bursary open to
students of any discipline across DIT’s Faculty of Applied Arts which
includes the School of Art, Design & Printing. This Award aims to
highlight, promote and unite the wealth of talent that already exists
within DIT’s Faculty of Applied Arts.
The award offers an opportunity for students in the Faculty of
Applied Arts to network and collaborate on a single
project/production. It is envisaged that the project will involve as
many different disciplines from Applied Arts as possible. The award
will be made to the most outstanding and innovative project that has
involved students from at least two or more disciplines from different
Schools within the Faculty of Applied Arts.
The theme of this year’s arts@DIT Award is ‘Where sound and vision
meet’. Closing date for submission of projects is Friday, April 16 2010.
